Working with Better Health For All (BEHFA) over the years has been both inspiring and impactful. From community sensitization on non-communicable diseases to advocacy for equitable access to health and nutrition through the People’s Health Movement, BEHFA has consistently demonstrated professionalism, compassion, and a deep commitment to vulnerable populations. Their grassroots approach to public health promotion and capacity development continues to create lasting change in communities across Cameroon. We at the Academic and Career Development Initiative (ACADI) Cameroon are proud to be associated with a partner whose work genuinely advances better health and dignity for all.

My name is Chido Mandizvidza from the Kudakadzwa Foundation in Harare, Zimbabwe, and I have been inspired by the work of Better Health For All. Through their media campaigns and community outreach programs, they have helped educate and empower many underserved communities. Their maternal health and youth mental health initiatives have especially made a real difference for vulnerable families and young people. I have seen how their programs encourage open conversations around health and wellbeing in our communities. Their work has also strengthened community engagement and inspired our own advocacy efforts at the Kudakadzwa Foundation. BEHFA’s approach shows the power of using media and outreach to bring positive change. They continue to play an important role in supporting community development and promoting health equity in Zimbabwe.

Working with BEHFA has allowed me to see firsthand the dedication and effort the organization invests in improving community health, particularly in hypertension and other major non-communicable diseases.
Through their outreach activities, health education talks, and screening campaigns, they have helped bring essential health services and awareness closer to the population, especially to vulnerable communities.
What stands out most is their strong spirit of collaboration and their commitment to continue serving communities despite existing challenges.
BEHFA is truly contributing to positive change, and I deeply appreciate the impact they continue to make in public health and community development.

I am Herman CHICK, a Social Performance Specialist based in Abidjan, and I have followed BEHFA’s work for several years. Their initiatives in advancing community health—particularly in Non-Communicable Diseases and Sexual and Reproductive Health—have consistently demonstrated dedication and impact. I have observed how BEHFA empowers women, girls, and vulnerable groups through economic and welfare programs, fostering resilience and community growth. BEHFA’s long-standing commitment to inclusive development continues to inspire and strengthen communities across the region.
